Emily and Nate - February 14, 2011 - 4:09 am

My new years resolution was to lose weight and I have already lost 24 pounds. Woot! Woot!

Amie - February 12, 2011 - 10:45 am

My New Year’s resolution was to make and stick to a better schedule to promote some balance in my life, continue to deepen my yoga practice, and to continue to challenge myself in my work and in life. And yes, I am sticking to all of them!

Darlene Thorp - February 7, 2011 - 12:45 am

I’ve never been a “resolution-maker”. Not because I don’t believe in the idea; I think it’s great to set goals. It isn’t even because of some deep-rooted fear of failure. It’s primarily because I believe someone doesn’t need a special occasion or landmark moment to affect change in their life. We all know when something isn’t right, and it’s up to us to make a difference. We usually do when we’re ready; not because the calendar changes.

So I hope I don’t come across as the “pessimistic” one. I’m really trying to be optimistic and share that it’s good when we want to improve ourselves or our lives by making steps toward what we know is right.

Steph Sullins - February 6, 2011 - 11:24 pm

I liked, I shared, and my new years resolution was to lose weight. I have only managed to gain a few more lbs! LOL

Kelsey Anderson - February 3, 2011 - 4:47 am

My New Year resolution is to keep the positive in my life and kick out the negative :)

Spring - January 30, 2011 - 5:19 am

My New Years Resolution is to get back in shape- which i know is pretty basic and not very interesting, but I’ve done ok sticking too it which does make it kind of a cool thing. My boyfriend and I are doing P90X which trust me… IS NOT EASY!!!!!! I’m also trying to work really hard at cooking healthy meals for us- which this apron would come in VERY HANDY during those chef experiments!!!

stephanie - January 29, 2011 - 4:00 pm

Hi Melissa! My new year’s resolutions are to keep on running (I did that last year, and I completed 2010′s most important resolution- to lose weight!), try new things (already crossed snowboarding off the list this year haha!), and travel more (Vegas in February!!). So I’m trying to be good this year- I wrote them on my big white board in my room! :D

Korie Herold - January 28, 2011 - 12:54 pm

My resolution is better time management in general. Last year, I spent way too many evenings and late nights editing photos instead of spending that precious time with my hubby! So this year, that’s not going to happen if I can help it :)

Sarah C - January 28, 2011 - 3:09 am

My New Year’s Resolution was to lose weight. I’m slowly achieving this goal, however, SLOWLY is the key word. I’m not as aggressive at working towards this goal as I had hoped to be, so I guess I just need to be more agressive!

Natalie - January 28, 2011 - 3:06 am

My New Years Resolution is to live in the moment. Not to linger on the past or to always look forward to the future – but to embrace the now. Life is so beautiful, so precious.. and sometimes I feel that I am too distracted with other things to truly enjoy it as it passes by.

So live in the moment, embrace the beauty that surrounds me. A small but hopefully effective resolution.

Julia - January 27, 2011 - 11:03 pm

My resolution was to LIVE DANGEROUSLY! Not bungee jumping or sky-diving, but taking risks. Making my own mistakes. Dare to be great. Live out loud! (I tend to be so very calculated and careful about things.)

Rachel May - January 27, 2011 - 10:22 pm

My resolution is to live life fully intentional on loving more, laughing more. Extending more grace & compassion and less anger & discontent. I am praying for a year of humility & blessings. :)

Danielle Hartnett - January 27, 2011 - 5:45 pm

I have 2 New Year’s Resolutions:

Resolution 1: To lose weight, I am sticking to it and not giving up! I am slowly starting to get into the groove of this whole diet thing, (changing my eating habits; less fatty foods more fruit and veggies!) I am starting to see some results, which is keeping me motivated.

Resolution 2: Jimmy and I have made the second resolution together; we are going to start saving money from each paycheck (spending less on little useless not so much needed things like new pair of shoes for Jimmy or a new purse for me. We are simply going to use what we have), so we can buy a house and get married! *Definitely sticking to that until we have accomplished our goal of buying a house and getting married!* :)

Google Reader – {Woodbridge, VA Photographer}

Okay, I confess…you caught me.  I.AM.A.STALKER…BLOG STALKER that is.  I love Blogs.  So much so, that I have hundreds of favorites and its so hard to keep track of them all.  That is, until recently, when I discovered Google Reader.  I know, you are wondering what rock I was hiding under.  Google Reader is GENIUS….

Pumpkin Chip Cookies – {Woodbridge, VA Photographer}

I BAKED today!  I love to Bake, and I certainly don’t do it enough.  With sleepovers, indoor soccer, laundry and ironing, I decided to get in a little kitchen time today.  These cookies are a favorite in my house and I usually don’t get them onto the cooling rack before Chris and the girls are…
