What is an MWP Model

An MWP Model is a spokesmodel for my business. A person who shares their experience as a model with their friends and classmates and getting your friends to book their photos with MWP and spreading the word about how fun and exciting your senior session was.

Senior Model Benefits

* A Discounted Senior Portrait Session [Must pay $100 retainer and if you get at least two referrals you will get that back in print credit]
* Be a part of several styled group shoots throughout the year
* $25 cash for each friend you refer that books with MWP [they have to pay their session fee for you to get credit]
* Featured in MWP Marketing and Advertisements
* The chance to be the cover of our MWP Magazine

The Scoop:

MWP Models need to follow the application process – this will be done during your Junior year of High School. Fill out the application and make sure you are following me on all social media:

FB: http://www.facebook.com/melissawallerphoto
IG: http://www.instagram.com/melissawallerphotography
Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/mdwaller71

Several students will be chosen from each school to represent MWP and I can’t wait to read about all the applicants. Unfortunately, I can’t choose everyone who applies – the successful applicants will be those that really take the time to answer the questions, put thought and creativity into their answers; and are spokes models who will best represent my brand and business.

The criteria I am looking for are:

Personality
Involvement in Sports, School, & Community
Religious activities
Active on Social Media
Fashion Interests

You must promote MWP exclusively – this means if you are chosen, you may not work with any other photographer through the end of your senior year. Exception: Class photo through the school photographer.

You must promote and talk about MWP on social media at least 3 times a month

Attend all group shoots and meet ups

Please fill out the application below and make sure you involve your parents, this is an important time for you and they should be involved. If you are chosen to be an MWP Model, there will be a meet/greet for models and parents which is mandatory.

I am so excited…My Body by Vi came today and I can’t wait to try it. My sister called me last week with this idea that we should do this program together because she wanted to lose 5-10 lbs (Yes, I wanted to smack her)!!! Really (insert 5 letter word with sarcastic tone)!!! I would like to lose about 60 lbs – so take that! Now, I clearly got my Dad’s genes which makes me think I should have probably been the only son he never had; big boned, broad shouldered, wide hips (although, those came in handy when I had the girls) :), and a size 10 foot! Seriously? Come on Lord…help me out here.

I have 5 sisters and not one of them are over a size 8. I hate them ALL!!! Kidding – but seriously; what the hell happened to me? LOL Anyway – I will be documenting my 90 day challenge on my blog because I think it is an important part of who I am and that is what I want my blog to showcase – along with my photography journey. So my goal is to lose 40 lbs within this 90 day challenge. I am going to need your help and encouragement, so don’t forget to leave me some inspiration and blessings daily;)I want this up/down weight loss/gain to stop. I want to get to a healthy weight and maintain it.

It was a triple header weekend for me…and the Campbell family was #2 on my list of sessions. I adore this family – and let me tell you that they are gorgeous!!! We met at Occoquan Park – it was cold and windy, but they ROCKED it out for me and I love their photos. Thank you Campbell family for meeting up with me – I had a blast.

  • Dennett - Very nice family photos!

Sunday morning, I met Lauren & John in Old Town Alexandria for their engagement shoot. I had a blast with them, John is hilarious and Lauren will not be short of laughs ever. Lauren & John are getting married in October 2012 and I am so excited for them. From everything that Lauren described, it will be a beautiful wedding. I am so excited for them. My cheeks still hurt from laughing so much at John’s crazy antics and my feet and legs are sore from walking the entire length of King Street – but I love, love, love their pictures. I think they really show Lauren & John’s fun side…I hope you guys love your photos as much as I do. Congratulations! xoxoxo

I made these numbers for Lauren & John to use in their session and I think they are so stinkin’ cute.

Lauren…you are seriously gorgeous…

  • Dennett - LOVE LOVE LOVE the scrabble idea!! How wonderful. Also love the numbers of when they are getting hitched! Another brilliant idea! Way to go SIS!!!

They are the epitome of LOVE!!! That is the only way I can describe these two…they were so comfortable with each other and I just melted! How could you not fall in love with them! Arden…Randy thank you for spending the morning with me and driving all the way from Charles County;)I love the way your photos turned out and I really think that they just show how much in love you are with each other. Most people only dream of what you have and I couldn’t be happier that I could capture it through my lens. You each have such an amazing personality and I can see how together you complete each other. Hugs to you both and Arden…I hope I can hear you play the piano someday! I would really enjoy that.:)

As were walking up to the Manor – these guys were EVERYWHERE! I was a little nervous and they looked hungry so we quickly took our photos and moved along.

FAVORITES…the light, the location and the couple! Just perfect!!!

  • Darlene Thorp - These two are eternal newlyweds! Perfect pictures!!

Not that this is trash by any stretch of the word, but isn’t that the old saying? Well, now it’s my treasure and I love it! I picked this beauty up at the Salvation Army the other day. After looking for months and months for an antique chair for my photo shoots, I came across this GEM! I feel bad that I didn’t buy both chairs, but I really only needed one. I hope the other chair finds a great home.:)

I can’t wait to use it – and I think this weekend will be the perfect opportunity.:)The lesson for today…you never know what you’ll find at the Salvation Army! Check out your local second hand stores and see what treasures are waiting for you.

  • Melissa Arlena - Ok what Salvation Army were you at bc I might have to go get it’s twin! I’m currently working on outfitting my office and have been scouring Craigslist for other peoples “trash”. Thrift stores are next on my list!

  • Darlene Thorp - I agree – where did you go? I love it; the fabric is sensational. You’re going to need a bigger car now to tote that around. (Or, you could just leave it at my house!)
