Welp…my big plans for blogging this wedding this past weekend were thwarted by some evil storms that cropped up on Friday night and knocked out my internet service until late Sunday. Seems appropriate somehow, because Jen & Andy had some pretty severe thunderstorms on their wedding day also.
Sometimes you just have to step outside the box and experience different things. I have known Jen for over 20 years and I can’t find one thing I don’t absolutely love about her. The fact that she is an amazing mother, the most positive and upbeat person I have ever met only added to the reason I wanted to shoot her wedding. I was so excited when she finally met the love of her life…Andy. I love them together and I love how they compliment each other. (Is that too many loves?) Who cares…I LOVE THEM! When Jen told me they were having a Harley wedding, I was stoked. What an amazing and unique difference from the weddings I normally shoot. I was so amazed at the details and the custom made chain hearts that they created for their centerpieces. Andy custom builds Harley Davidson motorcycles and I just couldn’t believe the talent and detail that he puts into his work. Jen threw me for a few loops on this wedding…by telling me she was going with a white dress and when I walked into the room, she pulled out this black leather strapless number. WHOA…look out – and you are riding a Harley to the ceremony. LOL – only Jen could pull this off with as much fun and zest as she did. I seriously couldn’t stop smiling the entire time – there was so much love and support that surrounded them and I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of their special day.
I thought everyone did such a great job decorating the hall when Jen & Andy had their reception. They had some unique and creative table settings…see for yourself.
Jen’s Mom did an awesome job on the cake…way to go Joyce!
I have never heard so much clapping and yelling when Jen rode in on the back of this bike…
I love this photo…Jen’s parents dancing with Andy & Jen.
Ring Shot…Jen & Andy had a bunch of these toy motorcycles around the reception and I couldn’t resist in keeping with the theme.
I will end with 4 amazing individuals – a special request from their Mama.
